All about Egmont National Park

National Park consists of New Zealand’s beautiful mountain which is called Mount Taranaki or Mount Egmont.
Egmont National Park’s 33, 534 land hectares is mostly dominated by Mount Taranaki. Beside Mount Taranaki are two other volcanoes which are the Mount Kaitake and Mount Pouakai. During the 1900s, the Egmont National Park was established. All year round, the park is receiving enough precipitation making its rainforests green and lush.
